DAY 1: Arrival in Tanzania & Transfer to Arusha Town

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our friendly safari representative who will assist you with your luggage and brief you about the start of the adventure. You will then be transferred by road to Arusha, a vibrant safari gateway town set at the foot of Mount Meru. Along the way, enjoy your first views of Tanzania beautiful countryside, local villages, and changing landscapes as you ease into the rhythm of Tanzania.

Upon arrival at your lodge, you will check in and have ample time to relax and refresh after your journey. Take a stroll around the lodge grounds, unwind in the tranquil surroundings, or simply rest in preparation for the exciting days ahead. In the evening, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner served in a peaceful atmosphere before settling in for a comfortable overnight stay.

DAY 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park to Karatu

Kick off your safari with a relaxed drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, taking in the scenic countryside, passing through small villages, and enjoying your first glimpses of Tanzania’s stunning landscapes. Once you arrive, get ready for a scenic game drive through this amazing park, known for its huge elephant herds, striking baobab trees, and a rich mix of wildlife including lions, zebras, giraffes, buffalos, and countless bird species. Take your time spotting animals, snapping photos, and soaking in the sounds and sights of the African bush before heading to your lodge for a relaxed evening, a hearty dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

DAY 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge in Karatu, get ready for an exciting drive to the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through rolling hills, farmland, and local villages, giving you a real sense of life in northern Tanzania while building anticipation for the incredible wildlife ahead. Along the way, enjoy the changing scenery as you approach the endless plains of one of Africa’s most famous parks.

Once you arrive, jump straight into an afternoon game drive across the Serengeti’s vast wildlife-packed landscapes. Watch for lions lounging in the sun, cheetahs on the prowl, towering giraffes, massive elephant herds, zebras, and a variety of antelope, all set against the park’s iconic savannah backdrop.

In the evening, check into your lodge/camp, relax in the peaceful surroundings, enjoy a hearty dinner, and a settle in for an overnight stay.

DAY 4 & 5: Sunrise and Sunset Serengeti Safari

Start the days before sunrise with morning game drives, when predators are most active and the light makes everything magical. Watch herds of zebras and wildebeest move across the plains while birds sing and the air feels fresh and crisp. Take breaks mid-day for relaxed lunch at your lodge or camp, then head back out in the afternoons for more wildlife spotting. Elephants, giraffes, and even smaller animals like warthogs and monkeys add to the variety, while the drama of the calving season continues. The days ends with beautiful sunsets over the plains.

DAY 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu

After breakfast at your lodge/camp in Serengeti National Park, set off on a scenic drive toward the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you leave the Serengeti’s endless plains behind and approach the dramatic rim of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders.

Once at the crater, descend into its lush, wildlife-rich floor for a full-day game drive. Marvel at the incredible variety of animals packed into this natural Amphitheatre, from lions and elephants to black rhinos, zebras, buffalo and flamingos, all set against the striking backdrop of crater walls and grassy plains. Take your time exploring, spotting wildlife, and capturing unforgettable photos before heading back to Karatu in the late afternoon. Check into your lodge, unwind, enjoy a hearty dinner, and relax for a comfortable overnight stay.

DAY 7: Departure Day

Karatu Town to Kilimanjaro International Airport

Wake up early for breakfast, then take a last short game drive around the Ngorongoro rim or nearby areas to catch any animals you might have missed.

Enjoy the peaceful morning light over the crater and take in the unforgettable scenery one last time.

Return to your lodge to pack, enjoy a light snack, and prepare for your departure. Depending on your plans, you may drive or take a flight back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro, carrying memories of newborn wildebeest, hunting predators, and the breathtaking landscapes of Tanzania’s Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
