Agreement and Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions form a binding agreement between the client and the tour operator upon confirmation of a booking. By making a reservation and submitting payment, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these conditions in their entirety. These terms apply all services, itineraries, and travel arrangements provided by the company.
Reservation and Confirmation
Reservation must be submitted through the company’s official communication channels. A booking becomes valid only after the required deposit has be received and a written confirmation is provided, all arrangements remain provisional and subject to availability.
Payment Structure
To secure travel arrangements, a deposit of 30-50% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be settled at least 30 days before the commencement of the tour. Reservations made within 30 days of the tour start date required full payment at the time of booking. Failure to comply with payment deadlines may result in cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of previously paid amounts.
Pricing and Inclusions
Tour price are based on the costs of accommodation, transportation, park fees, and other services available at the time of quotation. Should external costs such as government taxes, park entry fees, or service provider rates change before the commencement of travel, the company reserves the right to adjust the final price accordingly. Clients will be informed promptly should such adjustments occur.
Client Cancellations
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. The following cancellation charges will apply depending on the date of cancellation relative to the tour start date:
Any applicable refunds will be processed after deductions for services already confirmed with third -party providers.
Amendments and Booking Changes
Requests to modify confirmed reservations, including travel dates, participant numbers, or itinerary elements, must be made in writing. While the company will make every effort to accommodate such requests, changes may be subject to additional costs or availability limitations imposed by service providers.
Operational Flexibility
The nature of travel in remote wilderness regions requires flexibility. The company reserves the right to adjust travel routes, accommodations, transport arrangements, or activity schedules when necessary due to weather conditions, wildlife movements, conservation regulations, safety considerations, or logistical factors. Such changes will always aim to maintain the integrity and quality of the travel experience.
Travel Documentation and Entry Requirements
Each traveler is responsible for ensuring that their passport remains valid for the required period and that all visas, vaccination certificates, and other travel documents required by destination authorities are obtained prior to departure. The company cannot be held responsible for disruptions arising from incomplete or invalid documentation.
Health and Participation
Travelers are responsible for assessing their own physical fitness and health conditions prior to participation in safari activities, which may include long road journeys, wildlife encounters, boat excursions, or guided walks. Any medical conditions, dietary needs, or special assistance requirements must be disclosed during the booking process to allow appropriate arrangements to be considered.
Insurance Responsibility
Client are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, emergency medical treatment, evacuation, travel delays, and loss of personal belongings. The company shall not be liable for costs or losses that could have been covered by adequate insurance.
Responsibility and Liability
The company organizes travel services in cooperation with independent suppliers such as lodges, airlines, transport providers, and park authorities. While every effort is made to select reliable partners, the company cannot accept liability for injury, illness, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience resulting from the actions or omissions of these independent entities.
Unforeseeable Circumstances
The company shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or alterations to travel arrangements resulting from circumstances beyond its control. Such circumstances may include natural disasters, extreme weather, political instability, public heath emergencies, strikes, or governmental restrictions.
Conduct Compliance
Travelers are expected to comply with the laws, regulations, and conservation guidelines of the destinations visited. The company reserves the right to decline participation or terminate services for any traveler whose behavior threatens the safety, comfort, or wellbeing of other participants or staff.
Governing Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania where the company is legally registered. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of the appropriate legal authorities.
